Sofia had complained about double vision for a while, and I had caught her closing one of her eyes when she was focusing at a closer range.
So when her school nurse sent home a note that her vision warranted a visit to the eye doctor I can’t say I was surprised.
Her dad had a patch on his right eye for years when he was a child and his 3d-vision is gone as a result of it.
I have glasses as does everyone on my side of the family.
We saw the eye dr on Tuesday and then the optician after to order a pair for her.
On Friday she had them on and we’ve started patching too.
She doesn’t complain much about the patch and she is very happy about her glasses so I hope it will be as friction free as possible. We go back to see the doctor in four weeks.
Fingers crossed for an improvement.
